Good afternoon:

Tech, Apollo, and Cathedral High Schools are pleased to announced that Nick Thibault (TEE-bo) is the new head coach of the St. Cloud Icebreakers Girls’ Hockey program. Nick succeeds Mark Chamernick who stepped down after this past season.

Nick is a graduate of Cathedral High School and St. Cloud State University. He played varsity hockey at Cathedral for three years and one season with the Granite City Lumberjacks. He has been a boys’ assistant hockey coach at Cathedral the past six seasons and begins his first season as the Head Girls’ Soccer Coach at Cathedral this fall after six seasons as a girls’ and boys’ assistant in soccer.

Nick was introduced to many of the girls this afternoon at the MAC, and will begin to assemble his coaching staff immediately.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

St Cloud’s Hockey Zone made a great donation of pucks to the Icebreaker summer program. Justin Schultz helped out our girls and the Icebreaker program with a case of pucks and weighted passing pucks to help work on skills all summer!

Here’s a big Icebreaker THANK YOU to Justin and Hockey Zone!!

2015-16 Northern Swing Information

Posted by Saint Cloud Icebreakers at Jun 4, 2015 12:52PM PDT

January 22nd and 23rd is our Northern Swing to Thief River Falls and Roseau. Rooms have already been booked for the girls. For families there is a block of 20 rooms at the Americ Inn in Thief River Falls (1-218-681-4411) for the 22nd. Rooms are $99.90 and are reserved under St. Cloud Icebreakers. If you plan to stay the 23rd, that night is on your own.

I have looked into the iCal option and that is available as well as many other. The first thing one must to is request to join the team from the home page. I will receive an email, approve the request, then you can go into your own little icon guy in the upper right hand corner and click on calendar. Then it has the option to subscribe….there are directions there and you should be home free.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I will wait for emails to pour in. 
